SSM Annual Meeting 2025
This year’s meeting will feature symposia with speakers from diverse fields—including social and developmental psychology, cognitive science, and AI—to foster new collaborations and tackle shared questions at the cutting edge of motivation science.
This year’s meeting will be organized by David Melnikoff, Stanford Graduate School of Business. We extend our gratitude to David for his efforts in organizing the annual meeting.
Submissions
This year's meeting encourages presentations that explore the topic of motivation, broadly construed, with contributions from fields such as social psychology, developmental psychology, cognitive psychology, behavioral neuroscience, and AI. Researchers are welcome to submit for one of two presentation formats:
Single Papers (in-person only): These will undergo a review process and, if selected, will be organized into 75-minute symposia alongside three other single papers on related topics. If not selected for this presentation format, you will automatically be considered for a poster (unless you elect not to be).
Posters (in-person only): As our largest programming format, posters will be displayed during a 60-minute session, allowing for live, interactive engagement. All poster presenters are required to bring a printed poster for display on a traditional poster board at the meeting.
The call for submissions is now OPEN until February 1st. Please submit your contribution here:
